World Mental Health Day at GCU

The University and the Students’ Association are marking World Mental Health Day with a series of free workshops, activities and lectures for staff and students on Thursday, October 10.

Mental health problems can affect anyone, any day of the year, but World Mental Health Day is a great day to show your support for better mental health and start looking after your own wellbeing.

So, come along to the Hamish Wood building between 12pm and 7pm on Thursday and take part in a Tea and Talk event to raise funds for the Mental Health Foundation, sign a Pledge for Mental Health at GCU, give your feedback on mental health support and resources at the University, visit the Digital Detox Zone, or try out a mindfulness session or drawing workshop.
