Mr Nice guy is a playfully dark debut play from drama students attending the University of East Anglia’s respected Drama and Scriptwriting courses who have formed the Cruyff turn Theatre Company. The show, written by former GCU student Joseph Hollas, follows its key protagonist Jeremy’s last few hours of life prior to being shot during his early morning commute and the impact he made in the 20 years before it.
The play examines how someone examines their personal morals whilst chapping on death’s door and how they view their own legacy.
The show seeks to take the audience on a journey through juxtaposing a dark reality with a colourful yet surreal landscape, all the while keeping the audience on the edge of their seats.
