On Monday 20th January we’ll be saying B*ll*cks to blue Monday with Bongo’s Bingo in SWG3!
To help raise awareness for mental health on what is commonly dubbed as being the most miserable day of the year, Bongo’s Bingo are partnering up with CALM (The Campaign Against Living Miserably) and putting on 4 special shows across the UK.
They are using these special events to highlight that anyone’s mental health and emotional well-being can be affected at any day and time of the year, not just one specific day.
The origins of this one dull day stem from the post-Christmas lull, bad January weather and dark nights, this event has been created to remind everyone to look out for friends and family and to recognise when it this first month can be a trigger for actual depression.
There will be hosts, dancers and production throughout the night.
The profits from all four events in Liverpool, London, Manchester and Glasgow will go to CALM and Bongo’s Bingo have said they will be supporting the charity throughout 2020.
CALM offer help and support to anyone struggling with suicidal thoughts and depression, they have a helpline open 7 hours a day, 7 days a week between 5pm and midnight that anyone can use in times of crisis on: 0800 58 58 58.
For more information on CALM visit: www.thecalmzone.net.
The Glasgow event will take place in SWG3 on Monday 20th January, doors open at 6pm and the first game will start at 8pm.
